What if we add a brand name to the Title in the App Store? Will that change the ranking for keywords that are already in the app title?
We decided to run another test to check if using a brand name in the app title impacts ranking.
To implement that, we took several locales:
- English (AU, CA, UK, US)
- French (FR, CA)
- Portuguese (BR)
- Spanish (MX, SP)
- Chinese (traditional)
We tried adding the brand name in two ways – at the beginning and the end of the app title.
No matter where you add the brand name (at the beginning «Brand Name: Keywords» or at the end «Keywords - Brand Name»), this doesn’t affect the app ranking in any way regardless of the locale.
